John Renbourn was an English guitarist and composer. His discography consists of 20 studio albums, 5 live albums, 19 compilations, and 2 videos. John Renbourn ( born August 8, 1944 in Torquay, Devon ) is a British folk singer and guitarist who was best known as a member of the band Pentangle in the 1960s and '70s. Characteristic of his style of play is his round, delicate finger picking. In addition to Bert Jansch and Davey Graham he is regarded as an outstanding representative of the so-called "Folk - Baroque". Occasionally used Renbourn, sitar and electric guitar in his recordings. In 1965, his debut album on the market that simply John Renbourn and was rather ordinary, little attention Folk - Blues offered. Together with Dorris Henderson he took on There You Go, and he also accompanied Jansch on his second album It Do not Bother Me published in 1966, the two together Bert and John, which is often offered improvised, excellent guitar work.
