Complete your The Fall collection. I own at least one copy of every studio Fall LP/EP, and have owned many in multiple formats over the years, both original press vinyl and CDs. I just have come here to heap praise as this is possibly the best sounding Fall CD I have (I have never heard the Line CDs of Hex or IRS CDs of first two records).
From the back sleeve: 'Hip Priest And Kamerads' comprises of material released on . s 'Hex Enduction Hour' and 'Room to Live' and 45's 'Lie Dream' and 'Look, Know' in pretty much the original format, terminal 1981 & 1982. Detailed info: 1, 10: from the single Lie Dream Of A Casino Soul; 2, 3, 5, 7: from the album Hex Enduction Hour; 4, 9: from the single Look, Know; 6, 8: from the album Room To Live. Similar to this release The Fall - Hip Priest And Kamerads but on labels, album title reads RIP PRIEST AND KAMERADS.
So named due to this being a collection of stuff released on the Kamera label, for a long time Hip Priests was the only way to listen to material from the mighty Hex Enduction Hour album, as well as Room to Live and related singles like "Lie Dream of a Casino Soul" and "Look, Know. For that reason alone it was a useful collection, though it was also flawed in that nearly everything was mastered for CD from vinyl, a harbinger of what would eventually happen in the late '90s with any number of early Fall reissues.

It was highly sought out in the '80s and early '90s, when it was harder to find copies of Hex Enduction Hour and Room to Live, where most of the songs first appeared. It's especially noticeable on "Hip Priest" itself.
