Bijelo Dugme is the seventh studio album by Former Yugoslav and Bosnian rock band Bijelo Dugme. Due to Bijelo Dugme's usage of Uroš Predić's famous painting Kosovo Maiden for the album cover, the album is unofficially known as Kosovka djevojka (trans. Bijelo Dugme is the band's only album recorded with vocalist Mladen Vojičić "Tifa", who came to the band as the replacement for Željko Bebek
Bijelo Dugme, the most popular pop-rock band in former Yugoslavia, was formed in Sarajevo in 1974 from members of band Jutro. Original line-up was: Goran Bregović (guitar), Željko Bebek (vocals), Goran Ipe Ivandić (drums), Zoran Redžić (bass), Vlado Pravdić (keyboards). Other members: Jadranko Stanković (bass), Milić Vukašinović (drums), Ljubiša Racić (bass), Laza Ristovski (keyboards), Sanin Karić (bass), Dragan Điđi Jankelić (drums), Željko Savić (guitar), Mladen Vojičić - Tifa (vocals), Alen Islamović (vocals).
Bijelo Dugme ("White Button") were a highly influential rock band from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in former Yugoslavia. Active between 1974 and 1989, they were considered the most popular band ever to exist in the former Yugoslavia. The founder of the band was Goran Bregović, who spent much of his childhood in a Musical School for violin players, from which he was expelled for "lack of talent".

Bijelo Dugme – Bijelo Dugme was a Yugoslav rock band, based in Sarajevo. The bands debut album Kad bi bio bijelo dugme, released in 1974, in the early 1980s, with the emergence of Yugoslav new wave scene, the band moved towards new wave, managing to remain one of the most popular bands in the country. After the departure of Bebek in 1983, the band was joined by vocalist Mladen Vojičić Tifa, with whom the band recorded only one, self-titled album.
BIJELO DUGME (translation: "White Button") was founded by Goran Bregovic, at the initiative of Ismet "Nuno" Arnautalic, formerly the founder of INDEXI. Bregovic spent much of his childhood in a Musical School for violin players, from which he was expelled for "lack of talent". Soon after his expulsion, his mother bought him a guitar, and thus, BIJELO DUGME was born. Almost simultaneously with the album "Uspavanka za Radmilu . Goran Bregovic backed by BIJELO DUGME composed and released this album which is usually not considered a proper DUGME LP, and hence was never included in any of the subsequent CD remasters releases.
