At the Feet of the Master is a book attributed to Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986), authored when he was fourteen years old. Written under the name Alcyone, it was first published in 1910. The work was closely related to the so-called World Teacher Project, a contemporary messianic endeavor launched by the Theosophical Society. The book is considered a spiritual classic and was still in print as of 2012.
At the Master's Feet is a remarkable collection of Sundar Singh's visions from God, organized in a dialogue between the "Disciple" (Sundar Singh) and the "Master" (God). He includes in this uncomplicated dialogue profound teachings revealed to him from God. These teachings focus on the important practical aspects of Christianity-sin, salvation, prayer, service, et. rather than obscure or arcane theological discussions
Among the other headliners were Charles Lloyd, Norah Jones, Wynton Marsalis and Jon Batiste. Also, on September 20th the Festival’s Jazz Legends Gala honored Dianne. The event was co-hosted by Christian McBride and Terri Lyne Carrington-with a special performance featuring the Christian McBride Trio with Benny Green and Gregory Hutchinson. Dianne is the first woman to receive the Jazz Legends Award. The new class was inducted in a tribute concert and ceremony at the Kennedy Center on April 16, 2018. Each inductee delivered remarks but did not perform - that task was left to colleagues and peers. Dianne performed at the 2017 induction celebration, as she paid tribute to her friend Dee Dee Bridgewater.

LibriVox recording of Dracula, by Bram Stoker. The classic vampire story by Bram Stoker revolves around a struggle between good and evil, tradition and modernity, and lust versus chastity. The author didn't invent vampires, but his novel has so captured the public's imagination that he is rightly considered their popularizer. Listen and you will meet not only the Count himself, but heroes Jonathan Harker and Abraham Van Helsing, plus an array of madmen, psychiatrists, and fair maidens who cross paths with the fanged menace.
