Motörhead - Motörhead mp3 flac
Motörhead is the self-titled debut studio album by the band Motörhead, released on 21 August 1977, on Chiswick Records, one of the first for the label. It is officially regarded as the band's debut album, though an album was recorded in 1975 for United Artists which was shelved, and was only released in 1979 after the band had established themselves commercially
Motörhead are typically classified as Rock N Roll by Lemmy and band members, and their fusion of punk rock into the genre helped to pioneer speed metal and thrash metal. Their lyrics typically covered such topics as war, good versus evil, abuse of power, promiscuous sex, substance abuse, and, most famously, gambling. The name "Motörhead" is a reference to users of the drug amphetamine.

Motörhead is the self-titled debut studio album by the band Motörhead, released on 21 August 1977, on Chiswick Records, one of the first for the label. It is considered the band's first album, as the recordings they did with United Artists were shelved until 1979, when the band had some commercial success after their next two albums. This would be the first album with the 'classic' line up of Kilmister, Clarke, Taylor - their only release under Chiswick - as due to the success of this album they were signed to Bronze Records by early 1978.
This is Motörhead's first "proper" studio album. They had previously recorded the On Parole album for United Artists Records, which was intended for a 1976 release date, but the record company refused to release it. For this album, the band chose to record On Parole again in almost its entirety, only "Fools" and "Leaving Here" weren't re-recorded at these sessions. In addition two new self-penned compositions were added in "White Line Fever" and "Keep Us on the Road", as well as a cover of "Train Kept a-Rollin'".
Motörhead was a heavy metal band (though they prefer to say they play Rock and Roll instead) that formed in London, England in 1975 and was fronted by vocalist/bassist Ian Lemmy Kilmister. They were considered one of the early pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal that started in the late 70s, and have left behind a massive legacy that’s spread across 40 years. They have gone through many lineup changes over the years, but their most remembered and classic lineup included Lemmy on vocals and bass, Fast Eddie Clarke on guitars, and Phil Philthy Animal Taylor on drums.
