Complete your Miles Davis collection. The music from the final years with Columbia has dated more than the stuff from the 50, 60s and 70s and is far less engaging or essential but as a fan and Davis obsessive I feel, to steal a title from the Prince of Darkness, "It's About That Time"!!! The Man with the Horn is an album released by Miles Davis in 1981, featuring drummer Al Foster, saxophonist Bill Evans, guitarists Mike Stern and Barry Finnerty, and others. It was Davis' only official album recorded or released that year, at a time in his career while he was struggling with heroin addiction.
