Pleasure & Pain is the fifth studio album from American R&B group 112 named after the song "Pleasure & Pain" on 112's 1996 eponymous debut album, 112. This album did not fare as well as their first three albums, but the album did manage to spawn one hit single in 2005; the single "U Already Know" peaked at on the Billboard Hot 100, while the second single "What If" reached It was the first 112 album to get a Parental Advisory sticker (although a few songs from earlier releases contain.
The album gets much of its jarring nature from its plainspoken lyrics, a cold, Hemingway-esque twist that updates cold-war dance floor songs like Paul Hardcastle's "19" or Heaven 17's "We Don't Need This Fascist Groove Thang. And no small assist comes from trap producer Hudson Mohawke and avant-garde sound-stretcher Oneohtrix Point Never, who give the entire album the uneasy feeling of Kanye West remixing Ryuichi Sakamoto's 1983 score to Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. The highpoint is "Pain," where the struggle to process a friend's trauma explodes into shimmering, slashing catharsis.
THE ROLLING STONES отменили североамериканский ту. .Did it mean nothing Was it all in vain Was I just your fool Or was the pleasure pain Have you set me free Or will I wake up In the morning and find out it's been a bad dream. Come on, I beg you I want to be your main man. I can almost hear you sigh Almost hear you cry When you make sweet love to me Almost see your smile It stretched half a mile You had a stone cold look in your eyes.
