No-Man - Together We're Stranger mp3 flac
Together We're Stranger is No-Man's fifth studio album released by the Snapper Music label in 2003. Atmospheric and ambitious, this aspect of the album in some way recalls the more Ambient elements of Pink Floyd, Brian Eno and Miles Davis and the later experiments of Mark Hollis/Talk Talk.

Together We're Stranger" is No-Man's deepest, most soulful, and enjoyable album to date- focusing entirely on delicate ambience and intricate song writing; it is the only one of their albums I heartily recommend to fans coming from outside the genre, and will unfailingly impress any going in with an open mind. First, the recording quality is top-notch, allowing the listener to be swept away by the rich atmospheres.
The echo of Talk Talk shrouds this album in that the bouncy pop of such material as "Teardrop Falls" is now long gone to the extent you wonder if they'll ever revisit such terrain again. Like Talk Talk, No-Man have now become moodsmiths of the minimal and the epic. The title song is one of the stronger pieces, beginning with what sounds like a power tool. Twenty seconds later the piece opens to a wider sonic pasture which, over eight minutes, explores an emotional terrain which is very English (not that they've sounded like anything but over their decade-long existence).

Together We're Stranger" is a brilliant record, awash with fantastic lyricism, poignant instrumentation, and outstanding production. One of the highlights of listening to any No-Man record is the peculiarities of Tim Bowness' lyrics. At first listen, Bowness' lyrics often sound odd, given the strange metaphors and the very specific details he uses to convey the emotions he's expressing. No-Man have consistently been brilliant, but this album is no doubt their high point. Very little music sounds like this; but even more than that, very little music could convey a message like this album does. Together We're Stranger" is an album unlike anything in Bowness or Wilson's career; while Wilson would go on to further explore some of the ambience found on this album with his solo outlet Bass Communion, none of that music could ever match the stark, heartbreaking beauty of this record.
Together We're Stranger Lyrics. We step outside And face the poisoned weather. You and I are something else together. Arm in arm We'd waste our charms forever. Drifting off, despite the cost Afraid to ask for better. Together We're Stranger" Track Info. Together We're Stranger No-Man. Together We're Stranger. 4. Things I Want to Tell You.
