The Clash ‎– The Singles. Genere: Electronic, Rock. Their milestone, the double album London Calling (1979), is regarded as one of the best work pieces from the era of rock after The Beatles. Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer started all three new projects after The Clash (Big Audio Dynamite, Havana 3 AM, Strummers solo albums). Plans for a reunion, at their initiation into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, were nipped in the bud by the death of Joe Strummer in december 2002.

And because the best way to hear the Clash is on their original albums, The Singles can also be useful for fans who already own those albums and don't want to purchase the three-disc Clash on Broadway, thereby duplicating a good portion of their collection.
