Led Zeppelin - How The West Was Won mp3 flac

How the West Was Won is a live triple album by the English rock group Led Zeppelin, released by Atlantic Records on compact disc on 27 May 2003, and DVD-Audio on 7 October 2003. The recordings are taken from two 1972 performances in California: . Forum (25 June 1972) and Long Beach Arena (27 June 1972). Guitarist Jimmy Page considers Led Zeppelin at this point to have been at their artistic peak, as is mentioned in the album's liner notes and in an interview he gave to The Times newspaper in 2010.

I think what we did o. ow the West was Won – that 1972 gig – is pretty much a testament of how good it was. It would have been nice to have had a little more visual recordings, but there you go. That’s the conundrum of Led Zeppelin! This triple live album was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA on the 30th of June 2003. How The West Was Won Q&A. Why weren't new tracks added in the remastered version? Page said in an interview: I’m not entirely sure why ‘Tangerine’ was left off because it was really good

For years, Led Zeppelin fans complained that there was one missing item in the group's catalog: a good live album. It's not that there weren't live albums to be had. The Song Remains the Same, of course, was a soundtrack of a live performance, but it was a choppy, uneven performance, lacking the majesty of the group at its peak

Led Zeppelin’s 1976 soundtrack and concert souvenir is bloated, boring and filled with zero musical tension.

Though several soundboard recordings of Led Zeppelin concerts were circulated amongst fans after having been stolen from Page's personal archive some time in the mid−1980s, no soundboards of the 1972 Long Beach or LA Forum shows were taken, meaning the release of How the West Was Won was the first chance fans had of hearing the soundboard versions of these. American album certifications – Led Zeppelin – How the West Was Won".

Led Zeppelin, authors of the radio-history and so many hallowed riffs and sexual double-entendres involving fruit, are so played-out at this point that they've managed to become taken for granted. Jimmy Page found the two 1972 Los Angeles shows featured on the triple disc How the West Was Won while poring over his archives for what was to be a straight DVD release. And just like that, new magic is cast, new legends are born. One of the interesting things about Zep (and if you believe the rockists, this holds true for any truly "great" band) is that they made their most definitive statements in concert.

HOW THE WEST WAS WON highlights the best performances from Led Zeppelin’s legendary concerts at the Los Angeles Forum and Long Beach Arena on June 25 and 27, 1972. Melded together and sequenced to replicate a single concert from beginning to end, the three-CD collection captures the band at the height of its formidable powers.

Anyone know if this DVD-A release includes the 96kHz/24-bit mix (assuming it is not 192kHz) in both 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo?
Hulis
It has 24 bit 48 kHz stereo and 5.1.I listen to my downmixed stereo from 5.1 cause stereo on this DVD and triple CD release are victims of bullshit known as loudness war just like most modern CD releases.
